For four years, Jenny Fitz, a graduate of the Neuen Schule für Fotografie Berlin, accompanied a young actor for her project Kammerspiel. In her work, the photographer questions the habitus and role-play of people from her social environment.
At first it was curiosity that made me take the pictures, and later the urge to grasp our relationship. It’s a story about boundaries. Getting close. Pulling away. What constantly fascinated me, was the unpredictability with which he confronted me and the camera.“
The result is a book with 280 pages, which is divided into five acts, thus following the composition of a classical drama. The limited edition of 10 copies is available at www.jennyfitz.de.

Vier Jahre lang begleitete Jenny Fitz, Absolventin der Neuen Schule für Fotografie, für ihr Projekt Kammerspiel einen jungen Schauspieler. Die Fotografin hinterfragt in ihren Arbeiten Habitus und Rollenspiel von Personen aus ihrem sozialen Umfeld.
Anfangs war es Neugierde, die mich die Bilder machen ließ, später das Bedürfnis, unser Verhältnis zu erfassen. Es geht um Grenzen. Annäherung. Distanz. Ich versuchte zu verstehen, womit, mit wem ich es zu tun hatte. Was mich immer wieder faszinierte, war die Unberechenbarkeit, mit der er mir und der Kamera begegnete.“
Entstanden ist ein 280 Seiten starkes Buch, das sich in 5 Akte unterteilt, und damit dem Aufbau eines klassischen Dramas folgt. Die limitierte Auflage von 10 Exemplaren ist unter www.jennyfitz.de erhältlich.
