Joe Gasior’s project „Road Less Travelled“ follows an old route from the North to the South of England. This route is now obsolete due to the introduction of mass transit and high-speed transit routes. The intention was to catalogue a variety of waypoints along the route, to showcase that the idea of travel was not simply a means to an end. The actual act of travelling was, and still is an existential statement.
All images are „Untitled“ C-Type prints, 50x40cm.
