The call for entries for the 7th edition of the City of Levallois Photography Award is now open until May 10, 2014. The 2014 panel of judges will be announced soon.
This contest is open to any photographer aged 35 at the most, regardless of nationality. Artists must present a not previously published or exhibited body of work.
The grant consists in a 10,000 euros prize and the production of an exhibition during PHOTO LEVALLOIS, that will take place this year from October 10 to November 15, 2014.

The 2013 City of Levallois Photography Award was given to Max Pinckers (Brussels, 1988) for his series The Fourth Wall. We previously featured his magnificent series on ACMV, and included The Fourth Wall in our screening at Belfast Photo Festival 2013.

From its beginning in 2008, the festival has been open to new trends in contemporary photography, reflecting photography’s plurality and richness, by giving visibility to young generations and encouraging dialogue exchanges with other media. From internationally acclaimed and emerging artists to amateur photographers, all have a place in an event which gathers together major currents of contemporary photography.

Over the years, the City of Levallois Photography Award has gained international recognition. Since the beginning the festival and award have been open to artists from all over the world focusing mostly on new projects.
